We have decades of combined experience fishing the lakes of Northern Minnesota. Growing up around Grand Rapids, MN, we have mastered some of the fabulous fisheries around the area. We specialize in guided trips for walleyes, pike, muskie, and panfish in the spring, summer, fall, and winter. Whether you are looking for a day of pole bending action, or some guidance to better fishing techniques or strategy on an area lake, let Hang Loose Outdoors provide you with a fun and exciting day on the water. Some of our favorite lakes include: Pokegama, Trout, Winnibigoshish, Sand, Round, Upper Red, Deer, Northstar, many many more, and not to include all our smaller top secret back country lakes.... ____________________________________________________________________
All guided trips include use of the guide's 1800 Lund boat, fishing tackle, fishing poles, and bait. Customers please bring MN Fishing License, rain gear, sunscreen, camera, beverages, and snacks. We will arrange a meeting place for transportation to and from the lake.
We specialize in walleye fishing trips, but also offer muskie, northern pike, and panfish trips. We encourage kids, elderly, and family trips as well as friends. Our guide service focuses on teaching our customers fishing techniques to help them be more successful on the water in the future. We will teach them different tackle presentations, boat control, weather and season strategies, as well as how to read your electronics and when to use all those other gadgets you've always wondered about. And all this plus more while trying to keep your pole bent and focusing on catching that big one. Catching numbers of fish and limits is always fun, but our guide service likes to target those trophy fish. If you've always wanted to catch that 30 inch walleye then you are at the right place. Most of our day trips and all of our night trips focus on those ten pound marble eyes. We highly support Catch Photo and Release(CPR- trophies for the future). |

Godfrey Taxidermy
Adam Godfrey has a wide array of artistic abilities. When it comes to wildlife or outdoor scenery, Adam can pick up a pencil or paint brush and make a piece of paper come to life. A few years ago, Adam took his art to the next level and began mounting Whitetail Deer and turkeys. Adam is planning on mounting 10 to 15 whitetails after the 2010 rifle season. Adam is also in the process of learning fish. He is currently mounting a 31.5" walleye and 39" pike. It will only be a short time before that is mastered too.

Besides mapping, we also take strong interest and pride in providing private land owners with recommendations and opportunities to successful manage their land the way they have always wanted it to be. If your goal is to increase whitetail deer or ruffed grouse on your land, or just add walking, skiing, or ATV trails; we will sit down with you to discuss your wants and needs. We combine our educational backgrounds in natural resources, forestry, wildlife, and G.I.S along with our outdoor experience and knowledge of Northern Minnesota to develop a plan for your land so your goals and objectives are successfully met. We specialize in developing and maintaining wildlife plots and walking/ATV trails to maximize whitetail deer and ruffed grouse. If you have some land in Northern Minnesota and don't have time to scout it or watch it; we will scout it for you. We will stealth mode in and set up game cameras and show you where your big bucks are moving and when. We can even build deer stands for you or set up stands according to our scouting. Remember, if you are not out there, you have no idea where the big one is.... |
